Sold - Ford Orion

1987 Ford Orion 1.6 Ghia - E Reg

This is my ford orion 1.6 ghia which I have owned since 1993. (17 years!)
It has many mods which I have added over the years, I have not used the car for around 10 years now and have had it in dry storage all that time!
She is in great overall condition and hard to believe she is 23 years old!
Mileage is original at: 99736, with just three owners before me.
Many years ago I was in the orion register and won a couple of trophies in the concours with her.
It is now up for grabs - it has no mot and the tax is SORN.
To be honest the engine is only a 1.6 n/a so a more powerful engine would suit her much better! (maybe a turbo conversion or 1.9?/2.00 conversion) it has all the supporting mods in place already (full list below) such as huge front brakes, rear disc conversion, suspension etc!
Also had a glass out full repaint in its original colour dark rosso red in 1996 and the paintwork is stunning!
At the same i renewed all the trims and glass rubbers with oe ford items and they are still like new!
I fitted 17" ATP Torsion rims with Falken tyres and are in great condition as you can see, the spare is s2 15" rs turbo rim.with a good fulda tyre.
She has been undersealed /rust proofed and waxoyled by me many times in the box sections and underneath, this had kept her in great condition as you can see.Inner rear wheel arches are painted red and in great condition.

Hi spec 300x32mm vented drilled front discs with alloy belhousing
S2 Rs turbo front calipers with mintex pads
Rear disc conversion.
XR4x4 solid rear discs
XR4x4 rear callipers
MK 5 RS2000 rear handbrake cable/yoke.
S2 RS Turbo master cylinder (needs bleeding as soft)
Aeroqup hoses all round.
